Stoddartsville Welcomes Four New Baby Goats

Stoddartsville’s newest residents are four Anglo-Nubian goats born in late April. Of the four, three are male and one is female. They are the first born at Great Falls Farm and will be kept on the premises to grow the local herd.¬†Anglo-Nubians are an all purpose type of goat but are primarily used in dairy production. There were originally bred in England using African and Indian genetic lines, hence their name. Nubians grow up to 175 pounds and can produce up to 1.5 gallons of 5% butterfat milk per day.

Stop by and see our herd on your next visit to Stoddartsville. All are welcome!
